Join in on the fun at Moshi Moshi Sushi & Izakaya with Japanese distillery Iichiko for appetizers, education, and shochu.
Shochu is a Japanese distilled beverage that is typically made from rice, barley, sweet potatoes or buckwheat. Shochu can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, in cocktails, or with tea. During this event, an Iichiko Shochu Brand Ambassador will give a primer on shochu while you enjoy appetizers from Moshi Moshi. During the presentation, there will be tasting opportunities of 3 different Iichiko shochus: Saiten, Silhouette, and Special. The session will end with a craft shochu cocktail created just for this event, along with opportunities for Q&A.
This hour long session is only $25! Your ticket includes complimentary educational presentation, shochu tastings, appetizers, final craft cocktail, and Q&A session. We highly recommend making a dinner reservation at Moshi Moshi for immediately following this event!
Please note advance ticket purchase is required. All guests must be at least 21 years old (valid government ID required). This session will be held in our upstairs dining area with a direct view of our beautiful 2-story LED Sakura tree. All guests must be able to walk up and down 1 flight of stairs.
