For this event we turn the spotlight towards the heart of Jalisco's cocktail culture with their Cantarito Challenge, a dynamic and fast-paced competition where teams race against the clock to craft the perfect Cantarito cocktail. What’s a Cantarito, you ask? This traditional drink, hailing from the highlands of Jalisco, is a close relative of the Paloma and demands to be served in a traditional clay jar to truly honor its heritage. This and more will be shared by Eduardo Cruz, Tequila Cazadores brand ambassador as they bring attendees together for a unique blend of education, fun, and of course, delicious Mexican flavors in the spirit of Seattle Cocktail Week. This collaborative group competition invites everyone to step up and show their cocktail prowess, all levels of bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts are welcome!
Did we mention Drag? Of course we did! Host and DJ, Jane Don’t will provide the tunes and judge the competition fiercely! Queen Andrew Scott, Drag Latina season 2 finalist, aka THE baddie Chicana of Seattle will be kicking off the event and continue dazzling us with additional performances throughout the night.
